1. Introduction
VCJump respects your privacy and is designed to minimize the personal information required to evaluate, purchase, license and use the Software.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information may be collected or processed when you:
- visit the VCJump website;
- request or activate a VCJump trial;
- purchase or obtain a VCJump license;
- contact VCJump for support; or
- otherwise interact with VCJump.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “VCJump” refers to the VCJump software product and its operator.
Data Controller: VCJump
Contact: support@vcjump.com
2. Information You Are Not Required to Provide
You are not generally required by law to provide personal information directly to VCJump.
However, certain information may be necessary in order to provide a requested service.
For example, if you choose not to provide information required for licensing, VCJump may be unable to issue or replace a trial or paid license.
If you choose not to provide information reasonably required to investigate a support request, VCJump may be unable to provide effective assistance.
3. Information VCJump May Receive
Depending on how you interact with VCJump, we may receive or process information such as:
- your name;
- your email address;
- a machine identifier or Machine Hash;
- license identifiers and licensing history;
- trial activation information;
- purchase or order reference information;
- correspondence sent to support@vcjump.com;
- diagnostic or technical information that you voluntarily provide when requesting support; and
- other information that you voluntarily provide to VCJump.
VCJump does not require your full payment-card information for software licensing.
4. Machine Hash and Licensing Information
VCJump may use a machine-specific identifier or Machine Hash to bind a trial or paid license to a particular computer.
The Machine Hash may be used to:
- generate and verify licenses;
- enforce the one-computer-per-license restriction;
- identify previously issued licenses;
- process legitimate computer-replacement requests;
- prevent unauthorized license sharing or licensing-system abuse; and
- enforce trial limitations.
A Machine Hash is intended to identify a licensing environment and is not intended to reveal the contents of your computer, TIA Portal project or PLC program.
Licensing information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer a trial or perpetual license and to prevent licensing abuse.
5. TIA Portal Projects and Engineering Data
VCJump operates locally with the user's engineering environment and connects locally to Siemens TIA Portal through Siemens Openness.
VCJump does not operate a VCJump cloud service that automatically uploads or stores your TIA Portal projects, PLC programs or VCI engineering workspace.
Engineering project data processed locally by VCJump is not automatically transmitted to VCJump for storage.
This statement applies specifically to VCJump.
VCJump may interact with workflows involving third-party AI services such as Codex. Information made available to a third-party AI service is subject to the privacy, security and data-processing terms of that third-party service.
VCJump does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party AI providers.
If you voluntarily send project files, diagnostic files, logs, source code or other engineering information to VCJump for support, that information will be processed for the purpose of responding to your support request.
Users should avoid sending confidential project information unless it is reasonably necessary for support.
6. Website and Technical Information
The VCJump website may be hosted and protected using third-party infrastructure services such as Cloudflare.
When you access the website, infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website, which may include:
- IP address;
- browser and device information;
- requested pages or resources;
- date and time of requests;
- network and security information; and
- information associated with detecting abuse, attacks or other security events.
VCJump uses this information, where available to it, for website operation, security, troubleshooting and service improvement.
Cloudflare's infrastructure may process such technical data under its own applicable privacy and data-processing terms.
7. Cookies and Analytics
VCJump does not currently intend to use personal information for behavioral advertising or advertising-profile creation.
VCJump does not intend to use third-party advertising trackers on the website.
The website may use technical mechanisms necessary for security, network operation and delivery of website functionality.
If VCJump later introduces optional analytics, advertising cookies or other tracking technologies that materially change the information collected, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any additional consent mechanism required by applicable law will be implemented.
8. Purchases and Lemon Squeezy
VCJump purchases may be processed through Lemon Squeezy or another third-party Merchant of Record.
When Lemon Squeezy processes a purchase, Lemon Squeezy may independently collect and process information required for the transaction, including:
- name;
- email address;
- billing information;
- payment information;
- country or location information relevant to taxation;
- transaction details; and
- applicable tax information.
VCJump does not directly receive or store the purchaser's complete payment-card number when payment is processed by the Merchant of Record.
VCJump may receive limited customer and transaction information from the Merchant of Record where necessary to:
- confirm a purchase;
- issue or administer a license;
- provide customer support;
- identify a transaction;
- address payment or licensing disputes; or
- prevent fraud and licensing abuse.
Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record for transactions it processes and applies its own privacy policy and buyer terms.
9. Support Email
Email sent to support@vcjump.com may be routed or forwarded using third-party email infrastructure.
For example, Cloudflare Email Routing may be used to route messages sent to the VCJump domain to a designated mailbox.
The destination mailbox may be operated by another email provider.
Accordingly, information that you include in a support email may also be processed by the relevant email-routing and mailbox providers for the purpose of delivering and storing the message.
The private destination email address is not required to be disclosed to the sender.
10. How Personal Information Is Used
VCJump may process personal information for purposes including:

13. International Processing
VCJump may use third-party service providers located or operating outside Israel.
As a result, personal information associated with website hosting, payments, support communications or other supporting services may be processed in other countries.
Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws different from Israeli law.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate measures will be used in connection with international transfers of personal information.
14. Data Retention
VCJump retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for legitimate legal, licensing, security or business requirements.
For example:
Licensing records and Machine Hash information may be retained for the period necessary to administer perpetual licenses, identify previous activations or license replacements, and prevent repeated trial or licensing abuse.
Purchase records may be retained as necessary for licensing, transaction verification, legal, accounting or tax-related purposes.
Support correspondence may be retained where reasonably useful for providing ongoing support, documenting previous issues or protecting legitimate legal interests.
Information that is no longer reasonably required will be deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law and reasonable operational practices.
15. Information Security
VCJump uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information it handles.
However, no computer system, email service, internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their own computers, account credentials, engineering systems and project data.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights relating to your personal information.
Under Israeli privacy law, individuals may have rights including requesting access to personal information held about them and requesting correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
Depending on other applicable law, you may also have additional rights such as requesting deletion, restriction of processing or objecting to certain processing.
Requests concerning information controlled directly by VCJump may be sent to:
VCJump may need to verify the identity of a person making a request before disclosing or modifying information.

The VCJump website or Software may refer to or interact with third-party products and services, including Siemens products, supported AI services, Lemon Squeezy and infrastructure providers.
Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
VCJump is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services.
Users should review the privacy terms applicable to services they choose to use.
